Widow Jane is a brand from Red
Hook, Brooklyn that crafts premium spirits and whiskey. Me and my team were asked to
create a brand strategy and identity. My goal was to create
something as bold and distinct as every glass poured from Widow Jane. To
this end, I positioned the brand around the “Class Meets Crass” or "Rebellion by the Batch" concept.
The creative I made used found textures from Red Hook, and New York, to tie to the local sourcing of the product and the value of community that runs proudly through the brand. The wanted the bottle itself to be shown in a more natural way, with images and texture coming through the glass, rather than photoshopped perfect product photography that they normally did.
